Carefer launches the first cloud car maintenance workshop in Saudi Arabia

As the first car maintenance model in the Middle East, “Careferr” launches the first 

cloud-based car maintenance and repair workshop in the Kingdom.  

Riyadh – Carefer Car Maintenance Solutions announced the launch of the first cloud- based workshop in Saudi Arabia (Carefer Cloud Workshop) in cooperation with the Cloud Workshops Company. That aims to provide integrated services of high quality and competitive prices to the customers whether individuals, companies, or government agencies. 

This launch was a part of its strategic plan to launch several “Carefer” cloud workshops. It is also an innovative solution aimed at improving the quality of services offered in the vehicle maintenance and repair sector and providing spare parts, by enabling service providers to launch virtual brands and expand their geographical scope at the lowest costs. In addition to enabling them to raise the efficiency of their services with a qualitative business model that serves the development of the sector and meets the various needs of customers.

Carefer intends to benefit from its technology infrastructure in alliance with its partners, to create new and innovative opportunities. Serving service providers, and achieving the Kingdom’s vision of improving the quality of the citizen’s life on many levels.

 The Head of Strategic Partnerships at Carefer, Mr. Mujahid Al-Turki, explained that in light of Carefer’s  endeavor to develop the vehicle sector, the Carefer cloud workshop was launched, which is a strategic approach for the sector, that will help agencies and companies specialized in vehicle maintenance to expand their business in different regions with less costs. Such partnerships are a living example of the success that can be achieved by the alliance of national companies and local innovations in improving the automotive sector and meeting the needs of consumers in smart and creative ways. 

It is worth noting that the “Carefer” company started its operations since 2016 AD, in the field of vehicle maintenance and repair, in cooperation with more than 1,700 service providers. “Carefer” provides its services to individuals and companies, and the number of application users has grown until it exceeded 300,000 users in more than 28 cities around The kingdom.

Carefer Closes Its 2nd Investment Round (Pre-Series A)

Carefer, the company specializing in digital solutions for vehicle care and maintenance services, announced the closing of its second investment round (Pre-Series A) with a value of 11 million Saudi Riyals, led by the Fund of Elm, a leading digital solutions company, with the participation of both the Merced Fund and the Sarh Fund.

Carefer was established in 2017, based on the local market’s need for digital solutions in the vehicle maintenance sector, as it provides all care and maintenance services to individuals and companies through an application on smartphones. It also launched the Carefer Fleet system, which contributes to the efficient management of vehicle fleet maintenance, to improve its performance and reduce its operating expenses.

According to the company, its vision aims to develop vehicle care and maintenance services, and it seeks in its strategic plan to expand its operations to various regions of the Kingdom, due to its high potential and tremendous growth in digital transformation processes.

In this regard, Chief Executive Officer Abdulmajeed Al-Mubarrad said: “Carefer is a promising opportunity to lead technical solutions in the maintenance and repair of vehicles. During the past period, we have been able to build a leading brand that enjoys close strategic relations, with both the private and public sectors. Carefer had a major role in solving a problem car owners and companies were suffering from”.

For his part, he said: “We have achieved several strategic partnerships with various local and international companies to serve the sector, and this round will contribute to the development of Carefer and push the wheel to achieve its strategic objectives, starting with attracting talents to grow in providing our services to individual and corporate clients, and expanding the Carefer Fleet system”.
